Nice tribute to Adrian Fiala by @BigRedWrapUp. I don't catch the show often, but that was a nice, touching end. We miss ya, man.(about 2 days ago)

A vital part of The Ticket’s success on and off the air since 2012, Beatrice native and UNL graduate Jake Sorensen has co-hosted “Morning Take” (weekdays 7-8 am) for three years, the last two with Lanny Holstein. The two won a pair of 2015 talk hosting awards, from Midwest Broadcast Journalists Association and the Nebraska Broadcasters Association, for their first segment after the hiring of head coach Mike Riley in December 2014.
Beyond hosting, Jake is a full-time sales executive for The Ticket, using his enthusiastic personality to help bring local businesses the advertising they need for awareness and success. Prior to The Ticket, Jake called Husker TV and web events for the Big Ten Network, while also calling games and hosting shows for KRNU Radio.
An avid golfer, Jake is a Miami Dolphin, Miami Heat and Kansas City Royals fan. He stripped his St. Louis Cardinals fandom once he became closer to the Royals as a member of The Ticket.
