November 20th: Huskers give up 42 points in first half at Penn State to officially fall short of making a bowl game, in a game that’s final score wasn’t the true story

Huskers covered the spread—by a lot!—but in pity style, as they lose 56-44 at Happy Valley, in a game they led 10-7, but then trailed at halftime, 42-10, in a fashion that’s been far too common this season

-Huskers couldn’t stop the pass, and couldn’t stop the run. That’s a problem. And despite a nice start to the game, the offense went cold in the 2nd quarter, and that led to the predictable romp.
