December 7th: How important is a Nebraska renaissance for the Big Ten and its image?

-The World-Herald’s Tom Shatel wrote a good article asking that question, and it’s worth addressing. When Nebraska entered the B1G, the perception of the league was poor—didn’t do well in bowl games, embarrassing tattoo scandal at Ohio State, and then the Penn State fiasco…the image was poor

-The conference has certainly risen since then with Ohio State, Michigan State, Michigan, Wisconsin, Iowa, and Penn State all having great seasons at some point in the past 3 years…but how much could Nebraska getting back to national relevancy help put the conference over the top?
