Nick Saban is sick of questions about his QB battle and Miami looked like complete crap against LSU

-Saban was asked by ESPN’s Maria Taylor about his QB battle after Bama’s rout of Louisville and he was not in the mood to answer…was his frustration by the question justifiable?

-Also, LSU trounces Miami (FL) 30-3 on Sunday…what happened to the ‘Canes, and is Joe Burrow going to be the man who saves Ed Orgeron’s job?

Robin Washut (Husker Online) / Shut Up Sipple

-Is there really a chance Nebraska could find an opponent to play on the bye week now? And what about the theory of playing after the Iowa week (assuming both Nebraska and Akron aren’t in their respective conference championships)?

-How much does your season record prediction change now with no game played before a tough first game against Colorado now?

-Did Nebraska handle the situation well enough or could they have done anything better?

How much does Saturday’s cancellation affect your thoughts on Nebraska’ chances of making a bowl game now?

-That really changed the season in a lot of different ways—for those (and most of us do) who think that Nebraska was a 6-to-8 win team going into the season, you figured you’d count Akron as a win in that record…NOW you start your season against a Colorado team that looked good against Colorado State and would love nothing more than to kick your butt in your new ‘home opener’—renew the rivalry!

-Frost did say the team had an amazing practice on Monday and were very focused despite the disappointment of not playing an opener…but you have a tough team coming in (Huskers currently a 4-point favorite)

Penn State and Michigan State narrowly avoid upsets, Michigan loses to Notre Dame, and more from an opening weekend leaving much to desire from the B1G

-We might have witnessed what’s to come for Penn State without offensive coordinator Joe Moorhead and star running back Saquon Barkley, but their defense suffered, too, in a 45-38 win over Appalachian State in overtime…will they bounce back or is that a sign of a rough season in Happy Valley? And Michigan loses, 24-17, to Notre Dame, making Jim Harbaugh 9-9 in his last 18 games. Yikes.

-Also, SONG OF THE DAY:

Tunnel Walk Takes! Were fans OK with the music change on the tunnel walk and how it appeared, in general?

-We did get to see the full Tunnel Walk (and one kickoff) before the game was delayed and ultimately canceled, and it featured a remix of ‘Sirius,’ but the team walked out to ‘Jungle’ by X-Ambassadors…were you appalled or OK with it?
