June 20th: Texas eliminated early in the College World Series…will you always rejoice in their shortcomings?

June 20th: Sean Callahan (Husker Online) / Shut Up Sipple

June 20th: Is Memorial Stadium still intimidating for opponents?

-The easy answer is ‘no,’ as seen by last year’s loss to Northern Illinois and blowout losses against Wisconsin, Iowa and Ohio State….is that strictly performance based or is that a crowd/atmosphere issue?

-Does Scott Frost’s arrival change that immediately? Can fans ‘juiced up’ again and loud? Or does Memorial Stadium have an atmosphere problem, has it gone stale? We’ve already heard that Frost isn’t sure about what he’ll do with the Tunnel Walk…

June 20th: Tom Brady says on Instagram he wants to play until he’s 45 years old…do you believe him?

-Brady, a 5-time Super Bowl Champion, is currently 40 and will turn 41 before the upcoming season starts….does he really have 4 more years in him? Do you wish for a demise for him?

-Also, SONG OF THE DAY:

June 20th: Are you a bad fan if you don’t watch much of your favorite team in a bad season?

-Cubs fans are always loud and proud about how they are the best fanbase in baseball because they were always there through awful years and watched all the games, yet Poppe and Sorensen are Royals fans who have seen the team be bad, then have 5 good-to-great years, and now they are back to sucking. Are they bad fans for not watching the Royals have potentially the worst record in the MLB this year?

June 20th: Could Zach Duval be the most important piece in the Nebraska football revival?

-247 Sports’ Brian Christopherson wrote a piece on Tuesday about how UCF avoided injuries for the most part last year and seemed to get stronger as the year went on. It’s hard to know what Mark Phillipp did right or wrong in his time with Nebraska, but non-contact soft-tissue injuries were definitely a problem throughout

-Scott Frost runs an up-tempo offense, and injuries are definitely possible with the amount of plays that are run….and that will affect the Husker defense in practices, too. Can the team stay healthy in this first year of change of conditioning and style of play?
