June 7th: Dana White’s UFC is coming to Lincoln in August

-Justin Gaethje and Al Iaquinta will headline the UFC matches on August 25th in Lincoln, reported last night by ESPN’s Brett Okamoto

-Boxing did well with Bud Crawford in Lincoln, how will the UFC do, though?

June 7th: More MEGA upset discussion. / Shut Up Sipple

-Nebraska was 4-8 last year, and by most accounts and projections for this upcoming year, Nebraska fans should be happy if the team just makes a bowl game, at 6-6.

June 7th: If you had the choice of one MEGA upset this year for Nebraska, what game would it be?

-The obvious ‘mega’ choices are Ohio State, Wisconsin, and Michigan. All 3 are on the road, which makes them even more ‘mega’ upsets. Would a message be sent to the B1G with any of them? Before you say yes, don’t forget Iowa was an afterthought last year, yet still hammered Ohio State by 31 points (albeit in Iowa City)

-This is fascinating, because if you say Michigan, that gives you hope for the rest of the season to be a surprise, as that’s the first game in conference play. Wisconsin is also early in conference play. How about which of those is the most LIKELY mega upset game?

June 7th: Cavs/Warriors Game 3 recap

June 7th: Will Nebrasketball have enough shots to go around to make everyone happy in 2018-19?

-Yes, we are thrilled to have Palmer and Copeland back, and they both have NBA or other professional aspirations, still. But Isaiah Roby enters his junior year trying to take a massive step and has tons of potential himself, and Thomas Allen/Glynn Watson won’t want to just sit back and be quiet, either. How is this all going to work without guys playing hero ball?

June 7th: Sip and Jake hate offseason hype…but the HUSKERS ARE ON A ROLL IN RECRUITING

-3 days, 3 commits. Nebraska lands linebacker Jackson Hannah from Nashville, Tennessee; he had offers from Alabama, Tennessee, Florida, Arkansas, LSU, and others. Rivals ranks him as a 4-star and the No. 9 inside linebacker in the country for 2019. Not bad.

-Does this make you feel better about the attrition of losing Willie Hampton and Andrew Ward to transfer? Didn’t seem like there was much panic about that anyways. Still, another solid get for Frost. Will they get a new commit every day until the Fall?!?!?!
