May 10th: Mike Schaefer (247 Sports/Huskers Illustrated): Part 2 / Shut Up Sipple

-Is next year’s tough schedule the only reason why you wouldn’t take Joe Burrow at Nebraska, because the team might not be ready overall enough to compete at a high level?

May 10th: Mike Schaefer (247 Sports/Huskers Illustrated): Part 1

-Where should Scott Frost rank in terms of college coaches as we enter the 2018-19 football season, and what’s his ceiling/progression look like?

May 10th: The Mets did something unbelievably dumb yesterday that only the Mets could do

-In the first inning, the Mets batted out of order, and a hit that was a double on the field was instead turned into an out when the Reds manager came to the home plate ump and said that the Mets batted out of turn…how does that happen anywhere, let alone an MLB game?! Any Husker examples like that?

-Also, SONG OF THE DAY:

May 10th: Let’s take a depressing look from an outsider at Nebraska’s epic failure as a program since 2001

-The Oklahoman’s Berry Tramel dug up some good stats about Nebraska’s fall since the big game between the 2 programs in 2001 (the very first game that Jake ever attended, by the way), and it’s not pretty—Nebraska is 0-9 vs. Top 5 teams since then, and 3-22 vs. Top 10 teams. He points out that the ’95 team beat 4 top 10 teams alone in that season

-Is that hell finally over?
