Why in the HELL are people watching others PLAY VIDEO GAMES?!

-Someone needs to explain to Jake and Sip what exactly makes watching others play video games (Fortnite, EA Sports, etc.) something worth watching. What has happened to society?

-Josh Hart of the Lakers said he’d rather meet Ninja, an expert gamer, than meeting Michael Jordan on the DP Show last month. Good Lord.

May 3rd: Nebraska’s 3 main coaches last year are all in pretty underwhelming positions now / Shut Up Sipple

-Mike Riley is a tight ends coach at Oregon State; Bob Diaco is a defensive analyst at Oklahoma; and Danny Langsdorf is an offensive analyst at Oregon. That’s really the best they could do? Is that what other programs really think of the staff that Riley assembled? What a damn disaster

May 3rd: Has Nebraska’s high recruiting rankings in the B1G West caused a fear of failure at all?

-Tyjon Lindsey told the Journal Star’s Clark Grell that coming in with such high expectations made him play kind of scared last year, because he didn’t want to mess up. What did that create? A less than stellar season with less than 100 yards total and no TDs. So, his fear of failure led to….failure

-Is that easy to change? How do you take fear out of player of not getting to the level they are projected to be at? Doesn’t seem to be a problem at schools that routinely get lots of high level talent…why at Nebraska?

May 3rd: James Harden is a really good player but he is really tough to watch play basketball

-Harden is the league’s leading scorer and is the no-doubt star of the Rockets, but it feels like his plan everytime down the court is to try and get fouled instead of taking the best show always. Is that smart basketball or annoying, or both?

-Also, SONG OF THE DAY:

May 3rd: An early look at QB rankings in the B1G…where do Adrian Martinez/Tristan Gebbia fit in?

-Athlon Sports ranks Martinez as the 10th best QB in the B1G, with Trace McSorley not surprisingly first on the list…is that proper for Martinez?

-Looking at the list otherwise, if Martinez is the guy, how quickly can he jump up the perceived list of best QBs in the conference?
