April 17th: Will bad weather keep you from going to the Spring Game on Saturday? / Shut Up Sipple

-The forecast currently is 46 degrees with rain, and although it seems highly unlikely that Nebraska would cancel the game, it still isn’t ideal to go to. If you have tickets already, will anything keep you away from the game? If not, can Jake have your ticket?

April 17th: Hank Bounds says there is no reason why Nebraska can’t expect a national title in every sport—is he right?

-Sip had a long meeting with Bounds yesterday and he said that even though Nebrasketball has never won an NCAA Tournament game, there’s no reason with their facilities and fanbase that they shouldn’t be able to win championships. Is that a fair expectation? Why shouldn’t it be?

-Why did Husker volleyball get so good and stay so good? Good coaching and belief. They believed they could do big things and have consistently done just that. What holds other NU programs back?

April 17th: The Toronto Blue Jays—who have an indoor stadium—had a game postponed because of inclement conditions…

-A severe issue with ice on nearby CN Tower caused shards of ice to fall to the ground and create an unsafe environment, and even poked a hole in the top of the stadium—and there was a crazy event with the Royals bus that almost KILLED the bus driver….ALSO: Jake’s Heat beat the 76ers. Take THAT!

-Also, SONG OF THE DAY:

April 17th: Travis Fisher says every defensive back is playing both cornerback and safety….is that a good sign or bad sign for the depth there?

-It seems like more of a bad sign. Fisher said he’s impressed so far with DiCaprio Bootle and his camp, but said others have a ways to go. Not exactly the best indicator of strong depth right now, right?

-Is there any position that has depth at all? Can it be developed?
