March 5th: Do you enter this week with any sort of nervousness for an NCAA Tourney bid or just accepting that it’s going to be an NIT year for Nebrasketball?

March 5th: With all that being said…was this year a success for Nebrasketball or not? / Shut Up Sipple

-Hank Bounds said before the year that Nebrasketball needed to make the NCAA Tournament this year—big goals after a 12-19 campaign from last year…they have a chance but are likely out. Was it a successful year or just a waste of time if not in the NCAA Tourney for sure?

March 5th: Can a coach’s job security come down to one failure of a game in the postseason?

-It would be unfathomable to think about firing Tim Miles after the season he just put together, wouldn’t it? 22-10 overall and 13-5 in conference play—a school-record amount of conference wins, by the way
-The frustrated fans saying Tim Miles isn’t the long-term answer have some ammunition, but is it as much ammunition as those who want him back, and looking at this year’s big turnaround?
-The big question is this: Do YOU believe that Tim Miles will be the man to get Nebraska over the hump?

March 5th: Sip is not ready to crown Saquon Barkley as better than Zeke Elliott already

-Barkley has been putting up incredible numbers in all facets of the NFL Combine, but Sip says those aren’t enough reasons to say he is a better RB coming out of college than Elliott was. Do you agree? Why does Sip feel this way?

March 5th: If Nebraska does in fact make the NIT, what will the home environment be like?

-The belief right now is that the Huskers would be a 1-seed in the NIT, therefore having several home games before heading back to Madison Square Garden for the finish of the tournament
-Will fans and players show the same energy as they did in the season? The NIT is a consolation tournament. Tough to get completely amped for it when you had dreams of the NCAA Tournament.
