  • This or That

February 6th: Final preview of tonight’s Nebrasketball game at Minnesota

-Feeling good about this game or nervous? Will the win bump Nebraska into the field in Joe Lunardi’s Bracketology for ESPN? How damaging would a loss be?

-Pick for the game….

February 6th: Moses Bryant chooses to walk on at Nebraska—make that 19 known walk-ons in this class! / Shut Up Sipple

-Bryant was a player that a lot of people hoped Scott Frost would go after when he came to Nebraska…and he got him without even offering a scholarship. Bryant will walk on with the hopes of earning a scholarship, turning down offers from North Dakota and NW Missouri State, and late interest from Iowa. How big of a get is this for him to walk-on?

February 6th: Tomorrow is National Signing Day….just how big of a day could this be for Nebraska?

-The World-Herald’s Sam McKewon believes that running back recruit Maurice Washington could be one of the best in a long time if he commits to Nebraska—and there have been some pretty dang impressive running backs who have come through Lincoln

-Nebraska is in on more than 10 guys who are announcing either today or tomorrow, but have 5 spots to fill…get your popcorn ready. Who are we expecting to commit/sign? And will we be allowed to say there is program momentum after this signing period?

February 6th: The Super Bowl had its lowest viewership since 2009…how concerned should we be about the NFL?

-You had the dynasty of this era playing (Patriots), and a big-market team with a big following searching for their first Super Bowl win (Eagles), and still had worst rating in 9 years. What gives? What can Roger Goodell do?

-Also, SONG OF THE DAY:

February 6th: How open do you want Scott Frost and staff to be about injuries and personnel matters?

-The Super Bowl featured an odd situation with Malcolm Butler not playing and being benched, despite playing in 97.6% of the defensive snaps during the season

-Feels like a disciplinary reason, but Bill Belichick wouldn’t spill the beans on the problem…for Nebraska under Mike Riley, he was VERY open with lots of information…how do you prefer Scott Frost handles it?
