November 8th: Les Miles apparently might have interest in…Oregon State?!

-A report surfaced yesterday that Miles might have interest in that opening…what happened to him? There will likely be job openings at Florida, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Nebraska, and UCLA…and that’s the best he could get? Has his star really fallen that far?

November 8th: Sean Callahan (Husker Online) / Shut Up Sipple

-Thoughts on Bob Diaco’s comments about tackling now vs. what he was seeing when he first came to Nebraska…is he making excuses or do you believe what he says?

-Diaco seems adamant that he deserves more time and that Nebraska is building something….is there any belief in that theory at this point?

November 8th: Do you believe Bill Moos when he says he hasn’t made a decision yet on Mike Riley and this staff’s future?

-Moos continues his rounds with the media and was asked yesterday about if he had made a decision, but said nothing was decided yet

-Everyone says that the program is less toxic within than it was at the end of Bo’s tenure, but is that fully true? Seeing Diaco’s comments last night and Banker’s response makes it seem plausible that there is still some friction going on with this staff, right? Is that something Moos will look at to address the situation?

November 8th: Updated College Football Rankings released…any big surprises at all?

-Georgia remains 1st, followed by Alabama, Notre Dame and Clemson; Wisconsin at 8th…..big leap for Michigan State to 12th; Ohio State at 13th; and Penn State at 14th

-Also, RIP Roy Halladay                                                                                        And, SONG OF THE DAY:

November 8th: Nebrasketball looks bad in first half, but pulls away for comfortable win in exhibition over Northwood

Huskers, without Glynn Watson and Anton Gill, beat Northwood, 80-62, led by James Palmer’s 27 points…he is the real deal—as is Thomas Allen….oh boy!

-Nebraska was outrebounded by 10 which normally is concerning, but believable this time since this was essentially the Super Bowl for Northwood, and merely a tune-up for Nebraska
