September 27th: Millennial Husker fans see nothing but a mediocre program with not much hope of national relevancy coming…will the generation who did see dominance ever lower expectations?

-Good article in Omaha World-Herald that interviewed lots of various fans in between 18-32 years of age—millennials—that brought some sobering opinions on the state of Nebraska football and where it’s going

-Guys like Sorensen (26 years old) were only 6 years old when Nebraska last won a national title, and they don’t know what it’s like to see a truly dominant Husker team….why should we expect anything else from recruits who are looking at Nebraska, too? Is there a reality crisis at Nebraska that can be fixed or altered?

September 27th: A major college basketball scandal could (possibly) cost Rick Pitino and other their jobs

Adidas and several assistant coaches around the nation were investigated by FBI and found to have been illegally benefitting players—including a player this past recruiting cycle getting $100,000 from Pitino


September 27th: Chris Jones back at practice for Nebraska on Tuesday….should Nebraska rush him back? How much does he change the complexion of defense?

-Bob Diaco said it was nice to see him back and that the team rallied in his absence…but how much will his eventual return mean to Nebraska? Is it worth it for him to come back in such trying times?
