September 6th: If Huskers don’t have early success running the ball against Oregon—and other teams—will they abandon it and go pass heavy?

-Huskers established solid run game early against Ark St and used it throughout the game…but if you see them try it a couple early drives and fail, will Langsdorf resort to a pass-heavy attack because of trust in Tanner Lee?

September 6th: Tony Davis (former Husker RB) / Shut Up Sipple

-What did you like in Tre Bryant’s performance? Think he can be the workhorse or should the others get a chance?

-How much improvement should be expected of the o-line this season? They looked good—not fantastic—against Arkansas State, but have lots of room for improvement

-Can the defense improve enough over 1 week to slow down a potent Oregon offense?

September 6th: Do you believe in this team to keep its composure in a daunting environment, or is that all overhyped?

-Mike Riley and his entire staff have had lots to say about how intimidating Autzen Stadium can be with ruthless fans and an overall loud stadium…can a young defense that was leaky at times last week stay strong when communication might be difficult?

-Nebraska did well in tough environment last year at Wisconsin, but not at tough environment at Ohio State. Do either of those compare to Autzen? A positive: If Huskers do perform well in loud stadium and win, you’d think there won’t be much intimidation when it comes to crowds at all going forward…

September 6th: Is there really a chance that this game could get pushed back from the 3pm time slot because of air quality issues in Oregon?

-Supposedly a decision will be made in the morning of the game…but there is rain in forecast that could help take care of the issue…can you imagine waking up and learning that the game was pushed back to later in the night?

-Also, SONG OF THE DAY:

September 6th: How confident are you that the Huskers can contain Oregon’s strong rushing attack?

Oregon ran 47 times last year for 336 yards in the game against Nebraska—and that was without Royce Freeman for the majority of the game

-Arkansas State only ran the ball 21 times for 82 yards on Saturday, but they never tried to truly establish a running game because they were successful through the air….can the 3-4 be physical enough to contain a strong rushing front?
