August 7th: Practice your Icelandic pronunciations—Nebrasketball hosts a 19-year-old from the country for a visit / Shut Up Sipple

-Tim Miles extends an invite for visit to Thorir Thorbjarnarson (who had visits to UMass and Utah previously)….16.5ppg and 5.5rpg in international play this past year

-Miles went down this road with Sergej Vucetic a few years ago and that DID NOT turn out (7-footer from Serbia….yikes)….ALSO….Nebraska offers Brady Heiman of Platteview

August 7th: More from practice on Saturday…who do you see as captains on this year’s roster?

-Riley brings up the likes of Chris Weber, Dedrick Young and Mick Stoltenberg, at least defensively. Are those guys the fits at captain, or should Joshua Kalu be considered? And how many guys offensively?

-Can Stanley Morgan be considered for a captain spot with the offseason marijuana incident? Would that be considered a bad look for the program? He’s still one of the most important players…

-More news from practice:

August 7th: Jay Cutler is back in the NFL, and unfortunately for Sorensen—it’s with his DOLPHINS

-If Sorensen wasn’t already in meltdown mode with the injury to Ryan Tannehill and the mention of possibly Colin Kaepernick to take his place, this surely has put him in complete meltdown mode.

August 7th: Recruiting Update: Cameron Brown announces TODAY, and Bookie Radley-Hiles is acting weird…

-Husker Online’s Nate Clouse spoke on their podcast on Saturday that he believes Nebraska will land a commitment from Brown again…and also believes that Radley-Hiles is still ‘N’ despite following Florida coaches/players lately and removing ‘Nebraska commit’ from his Twitter bio

-Again, recruiting is maddening—if Radley-Hiles were to decommit, this town would burn to the ground
